Install the server certificate

1. Open the Key Manager.
2. Click on the key in the WWW directory (usually a broken key icon with a line through it), and select 'Install Key Certificate'.
3. Enter the private key password.
4. When you are prompted for bindings, add the IP and Port Number.
      "Any assigned" is acceptable if you do not have any other IIS SSL Certificates installed on the web server.
5. Go to the 'Computers' menu and select the option "Commit Changes", or close Key Manager and select "Yes" when prompted to commit changes.

Install the root certificate chain

1. Locate the root certificate file(s) saved during the online retrieval of the server certificate.
2. Double-click on the file, and select 'Install Certificate'
• Note: If you downloaded multiple files, you will need to do this for each one
3. Click 'Next' on the first screen of the "Certificate Manager Import Wizard".
4. Select the option 'Place all certificates in the following store'.
5. Click 'Browse'. Check 'Show Physical Stores'.
6. Double-click on the 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities' folder.
• If using multiple files as stated in Step #2, then when viewing the certificate in Step #2, check if the "Issued to:" and "Issued by:" are the same. If not, then double-click on 'Intermediate Certification Authorities' in this step instead.
7. Select 'Local Computer'. Click 'OK'.
8. Click 'OK', click 'Next', and click 'Finish'. You will receive a dialog box stating "The import was successful".
